Skiing

In only a few minutes drive you reach one the best Austrian ski areas. 31 modern mountain lifts and gondolas, 144 kilometres of slopes, 33 ski huts and 3 three-thousand metre peaks in one ski area - that's skiing in Sölden! Have fun in the winter and glacier skiing area with an altitude from 1.350 up to 3.340 metres which guarantees snow from October till May.

Cross-country skiing

If classic or skating, on perfectly groomed tracks it is rather easy to run. Cross-country skiing in Längenfeld in a great alternative to the classic skiing day: Less "traffic" and no waiting time, but a lot of nature and free use of the cross-country skiing tracks. Find the right equipment at the sports rental. A broad course offer makes sure you learn the right technique.

Snowshoe and winter hiking

Hiking & mountaineering

More than 1.600 km of hiking paths across the Ötztal Alps are waiting for you. The perfect infrastructure (bus connection, mountain gondolas, hiking programme) makes hiking in the Ötztal much easier.
Also the idyllic mountain village Gries belongs to Längenfeld. Nature lovers appreciate the hiking village at a altitude of 1,570 metres above sea level. We also recommend the 4 Lakes Hike which starts in Lehn and then leads along 4 lakes (Plattach See, Weißer See, Spitzig See, Hauersee).

Climbing

For all climbing fans: Längenfeld is the climbing place to be in the Ötztal. 7 climbing gardens and 2 via ferratas ensure unforgettable climbing experiences for beginners and also for experts. In only 10-15 walking minutes from our house you reach the starting point of the via ferrata Lehner Waterfall or the climbing garden Oberried.

Biking

The flat valley floor of Längenfeld is perfect for a nice bike tour. If you prefer a steeper angle you can explore the many bike trails on the mountains. Along the new Ötztal Cycle Path you discover other places of the Ötztal.
In the Bike Republic Sölden cyclist who love downhill & mountain bike are in good hands. Us the mountain gondola to get on the mountains and then ride your Enduro bike down.

Action in the summer holiday

Where the valley begins the outdoor park AREA 47 is located. Adventurers and water freaks will love it. The activities go from rafting, canyoning, blobbing, sliding and wakeboarding to climbing and motocross.
